White Noise

So it’s 2 AM, and you can’t get to sleep. You need the calm sound of say, a beach? Or maybe rain pounding? But you live in Tennessee where there is no beach, and there’s no rain. What to do? I know! Take out your handy dandy iPhone or iPod Touch and open up TMSOFT’s White Noise application. White Noise provides you with some peaceful ambient noises of the environment. White Noise features the sounds of a:

• Air
• Chimes
• Clock

And the new version 1.1 will include:

• Fire
• Thunder
• Rain (maybe a different kind?)

and many more ambient noises! TMSOFT’s White Noise does a good job making a person feel relaxed and helps get them to fall asleep. The User Interface of White Noise is very simple and nice, and the icon is pretty cool. White Noise uses the iPhone / iPod Touch’s beautiful 3.5 inch touch screen to control it. TMSOFT did another great job with this application! You can download White Noise in the App Store for a cheap price of free! Overall, HawtApps has rated White Noise a good 7/10.
