beamME 

Developed by rmbrME - the leading provider of mobile-to-mobile contact exchange, beamME is the first application that enables the iPhone to “beam” vCard contact information to any device, including Blackberries, Treos, Android Phones and non-smartphones. beamME does not require recipients to download any software to get your card when you send it. beamME takes a little over 1 minute to create an account, if you don’t already have one. beamME has a nice, slick User Interface. beamME makes full use of the iPhone’s 3.5 inch touch screen. beamME allows you to send thousands of vCards for free. They never charge. With beamME, it’s easy to advertise to your contacts. beamME is available in the App Store for free, and is definitely not a worthless download. Overall, HawtApps has rated beamME a great 8/10!

Air Sharing

Ah… Air Sharing. One of my favorite free apps for now. Just the thought of sharing files from my computer to my iPhone makes me all tingly inside. With Air Sharing, you can view all of your: iWork, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, HTML, Source code and many other files all on your iPhone / iPod Touch. Air Sharing is compatible with: Mac OS X (Tiger and Leopard!), Linux (GNOME and KDE), Windows (XP and Vista) and any Web browser! The User Interface is good, too. But, besides the fact that I was looking for a file sharing app, the icon made me instantly download this application. Very nice artwork. Avatron Software, Inc. did an amazing job! Another special thing about this app is… it’s free for the first two weeks, so I’d recommend to download it before it goes to its regular price of $6.99 (US)! Overall, HawtApps gives Air Sharing a rating of 8/10.
